Due to hazardous road conditions, the Triad District will conduct an emergency (snow) day today--Monday, January 30, 2023. There will be no scheduled e-Learning activities. Please check the Triad website later today for information about extracurricular activities scheduled Monday evening.


Triad's Wellness/SEL committee set up a "Take Care Table" at C.A. Henning Elementary today in appreciation for their staff's commitment and dedication to the Triad School District. Their hard work does not go unnoticed by the students, parents, colleagues, and administration!!


Based on forecasted weather and the risk of hazardous road conditions in the morning, the Triad District will conduct an e-Learning Day on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Please check the website later tomorrow for information about extra-curricular activities. Families should check their email or visit the Triad website for additional information regarding e-Learning schedules and expectations for students.

Early Dismissal
All schools will dismiss one hour early. Please refer to the graphic below for times and reach out to your child's building with any questions.


Triad will be holding a substitute teacher training on Wednesday, December 14. The training is open to first-time Triad substitutes with an IL Professional Educator License, substitute license, or individuals seeking a short-term substitute license. To obtain a short-term substitute license, you must have an associate's degree or have completed at least 60 hours of credit from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Please note that you do not need to hold a license to attend the training, and information about obtaining a license will be provided at the training. All substitutes with a short-term license employed by the Triad district must attend training before they are able to accept substitute jobs. The training will cover the following topics: curriculum, classroom management, school safety, district/building operations, technology, and time to review the application process for substitutes.
The next training will be held Wednesday, December 14 at Triad’s Central office: 203 E. Throp St. Troy, IL 62294 from 8:30 – 12:00. Each participant will receive a half-day substitute pay for attending the training after being hired by the Board of Education and substituting at least one day for the Triad school district.
