Community SHIELD Testing for Thursday, February 3, 2022 has been cancelled due to inclement weather. No samples will be collected.
All participants will need to present a Shield IL account registration to participate.
In cooperation with the Illinois Department of Public Health, Triad CUSD#2 is hosting a SHIELD IL COVID-19 Community Screening event every Thursday from 3pm to 6:30pm at Triad High School. Instead of a nasal swab, the covidSHIELD test uses saliva and only takes a few minutes to collect a sample. Please beware that participants can not eat or drink one hour prior to testing to provide a valid collection sample for a conclusive result. IDPH recommends testing before attending functions with loved ones especially if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or work in a high-risk setting. To expedite the collection process, please have a Shield IL Portal account created prior to entering the sample collection area at the school.
